Travel To Columbus if you are flying will come through Atlanta GA’s Hartsfield International Airport. From Atlanta you have jet flights and connectors into Columbus’ Muscogee County Airport and Shuttle Service by Groome Transportation into Columbus, or you can rent a car at the Atlanta Airport and drive down.

You can check with your airline for connecting flights into Columbus and the Airport has all the major car rental booths in the airport.

Connection flights I’m being told are few and far between so you may nave a long layover in Atlanta.

If you want to rent a car the drive is I-85 South to I-185 South to Columbus. Exit on Williams Road and the Hotels are about a block or two off the exit on the left. The hotels are next door so everyone will be close by for the time you are here. The next exit down from Williams Road is the Airport Thruway exit and the Sheraton where we were last year is on this exit and so is the Airport. There are also quite a number of restaurants on this exit. Drive one more exit and you will be at my shop on Manchester Expressway. Everything is pretty close, except the golf course. The golf course is maybe a 20 to 30 minute drive from the hotels.

Shuttle Service from Atlanta is provided by Groome Transportation and you can get a schedule and contact Groome through their web site.

The drive from Atlanta is about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on traffic in Atlanta and the time of day you leave Atlanta. Groome takes about the same amount of time and they leave the Atlanta airport every hour on the half hour until about 1 am. (check their web site for changes)

If you are driving from North of Atlanta take I-85 South out of Atlanta to I0185 South to Columbus. Take the Williams Road exit in Columbus.

If you are driving West to East in the Southern U. S. I-10 should be OK by November. Take I-10 East to I-85 North out of Mobile AL., then South on I-185 to Williams Road.

Safe traveling to you all, and if you have any questions I might be able to help you with, write me at Roy@AGCPgolf.com
