 Bill Blankenship has had a love affair with golf all his life. He was born in Glendora, California and raised on the 16th fairway at the Glendora Country Club. Bill will tell you he has been trying to improve his golf swing most of his life as well, but to no avail. One thing he has improved over the years, clubmaking.
Bill holds multiple U.S. patents, the on golf club extensions and shaft adaptor design. He was also the original designer for the collared ferrules which have become industry standard for graphite shaft installations.
Bill feels strongly that keeping up with a changing golf industry is essential to the club building community. He maintains ties and networks with club builders around the world. In this manner he continually receives the input needed to stay on the cutting edge of developing parts for the clubmaking industry.
