Roy, You better get a bigger facility for next year. This was an excellent conference. Word will get out and you will have at least twice as many here next year.

Guys, I just want to say how much I enjoyed our time together at the AGCP Roundtable this past week. We had an exceptional group with a tremendous amount of talent who openly shared their expertise with the rest of us. We had young experts as well as "seasoned" experts who all blended together like a fine-oiled machine. The only way I can accurately describe my feelings is to say I'm proud to be a part of the AGCP- Greatest Little Club Clubfitters Organization in the World. My only regret is that we did not have all of our members present but there is always next year.
PS: Roy, Do you think next year we can afford a few round tables next year since we are calling our meeting the Roundtable? :) J. Wow, what a great time. Roy, I want to thank you, Linda and all of the the Sponsors and members for one of the best learning and idea sharing conferences I've ever attended. Mr. Nix is a great host and the fellowship was second to none. Jerry, Keith, JB, Dana, Todd, Matt and all the rest, it was great to meet / see you guys again.
Again Wow, that sums it up.
Looking forward the 2008 session, cause if its anything like the 2007... :>)

Roy, I echo Dan's post and just want to add that you are right! The AGCP IS the greatest little clubfitters group in the world. What a blast! I learned more than I would have thought possible in the short time we were together. By Wednesday afternoon, I was on brain "overload." BUT, it was WELL worth it. Everyone's presentations were on the money and just what most of us needed to hear and learn. Thanks again to Keith for his yeoman's efforts and exchange of knowledge and information. I would like to be able to take the top of Keith's, Jerry's and Dana's heads off and dip out their knowledge and put it into my own. Others, too, but they just kinda stand out. I appreciated to roster of speakers you put together. Not a dud in the bunch. Special thanks to you and Linda for WAY "above and beyond" service and accommodations for us all. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS. To the rest of you, what a pleasure to meet and get to know so many of you. If you are in South Florida and need anything, call or let me know somehow and we'll do whatever we can for you. See you next year (but I'm flying instead of driving 81/2 hours) unless the Lord returns. In that case, see you "up there."

Dan and Allen both, I totally agree! Excellent 3 days! New knowledge and procedures, quite critical in our industry imo. It's always a real pleasure to put a face with a name. I always get a kick out of "perceptions" of people. To read occasional posts from those that come across very direct, to the point, cut and dry....... and then to meet them finally to find a soft spoken, very easy going, yet outgoing individual that wants to learn and share their knowledge with and from others. I think the best (and funniest) shocker happened to me! I have exchanged posts/emails with Roy for over 3 years now, never met the man. Spoke with him on the phone one time in my life, a few days before the event. Dan Wilt and I walk into the room Sunday night before the Roundtable at the same time to introduce ourselves. I introduce myself to Roy, extend a handshake. Roy pauses for a moment and says, "Bill, you definitely look different than what I pictured." I asked, "What do you mean?" He says, "Talking to you on the phone, for some reason I pictured Matt Damon!" I am a charter member of the "Tons of Fun" Club! I realized right then and there that this was going to be a fun and extremely informative 3 days................ and it was! Roy is not only a fantastic host, and very knowledgeable in our trade............ he's a funny dude too!" Thanks to all, seeing again, those I have met over the years and just as important, making new aqaintenances and friendships! Thanks guys! Like everyone else, I had just a FANTASTIC time at the conference! The best clubfitting meeting - by far - I have attended so far. All of the speakers were superb, and I learned not only about clubfitting skills but about how to market my business. I created a long list of things that I learned and things I want to do to improve. Roy and Linda did an amazing job of putting this together. And I met people who I know I will continue to keep in contact with and learn from
Thanks AGCP!

I just got home. Looking through the emails. I would like to echo the comments already made about the Roundtable. I too had a great time and learned more about clubfitting and clubmaking. Thanks to all who took time away from their shops to present the sessions. And what about that Jerry - you've gotta love the guy!!!!! Man of few words, but he sure does get the point across ;-) !!! Thanks to Roy and Linda for such a great job. Roy, I had to wait for the fog to lift this morning, so I went over and snooped around your shop. Great looking shop. I think we found out that you really did marry over your head :-) !!!!

Roy and most definitely Linda - Just adding my thanks for the symposium this past week doesn't really describe what I came away with in the way of learning and better yet understandind the various methods of mearsuring length ,MOI,and the how - to's to make it work. My new test clubs will be various and MOI balanced as well. So thank you two really doesn't say it does it. As far as different dates for me and my situation ; two weeks prior to Thanksgiving and the week immediarely after would work best. Having a jewelry and gift business does dictate some extra attention at that time of year. But as you well know ,I was there this time ,and as long as I am on the top side of the grass roots ,I will be there if I possibly can. Thanks again for all you two did.

All -
Just my echo to all of the previous comments. Roy, thanks to you and Linda for your work on organizing the meeting. Also, a special thanks to Keith, Dana, JB, Dan, Jerry and all of my fellow AGCP members for their presentations. The amount of information and knowledge that I obtained is hard for me to measure at this time. I do know that I will be changing both my fitting and club building processes to better serve my golfers.
I found the meeting to be particularly rewarding for me to meet some of my fellow members that I had only known via email posts. I also thought that their was a lot of questions (answered) that the informal structure of the meeting provided.
I am looking forward to next year.

Comments from our Sponsors...
Charlie Blume of S. K. Fiber on Wednesday after the last presentation. “Roy, This was a great Event! You can count on us for next year!”
Lee Sanford of M. L. Wilson in a phone call a few days afterwards. Roy, that was a great learning experience and I learned so much about how to help clubmakers find the right fit for their customers, I can hardly believe it. We are going to get Jerry’s BMT software and integrate it into our inventory system so we can quickly find all shaftes in stock that match the BMT requirements of their customers when they call for in an order... We are going to put our thinking caps on and see if we can contribute more to the learning experience next year.
Terry Koehler of Eidolon Wedges in an Email just before Christmas. “After the holidays, let’s talk about how to help your members in a number of ways. I have gotten great feedback on both the wedge fitting and marketing presentations. And quite a bit of interest in my challenge to them to improve all three areas of their expertise – clubs, marketing and the game. Gives me some ideas for your communications in the year to come.”
